Under the current "Renassance" that horror movies are under at the current moment. (ie. Scream 1, 2, 3, Freddy vs. Jason, Thinner, Halloween H2O, you get the picture) I belive that there should be a Fresh Sense of Angela's Presence going into the next Century.
After watching all Sleepaway Camp movies one day, I had a dream. Perhaps . . . maybe it was real. Enough with the mystical crud, and on to the movie.
It stars a new Angela, (as Pamela Springsteen could no longer pass of a teenager) and brings her/his cousin Ricky back into the storyline. Much like the new Halloween movie there will only be a few things that need to be known to catch the essence of this movie. A quick overture of "The Happy Camper Song", and Paul's Head rolling down the beach will suffice.
The move then moves into the present day: where we see Angela/Peter over the grave of his father, and his father's lover standing beside him. And for some strange reason her/his lover asks Angela about her/his Dad, and who the hell she was? of course this sends Angela back to her old ways. Kill anyone who:
Now here is where it gets good. Ricky comes back into the story. He has spent most of his life trying to track down Angela (they were best friends when they were like 3 years old) He has documented everything, from Camp Arwark, to Camp New Horizon, including the three Ambulance guys. He feels that he should have stopped Angela when he had the chance. By the way, Angela doesn't know it is Ricky. He says his name is Peter. Amongst other assorted things, to get the crowd confused, Peter and Angela have "Relations" ;-)
Etc., Etc., we move to the last scene of the movie. Remember this is a dream, this ending is not unlike the end of Halloween H2O, Angela has one of her pattented flashbacks, and remebers Ricky. All hell breaks loose yada, yada, yada . . . .
The final words of Angela before her head is chopped off . . .
